Title: Friday the 13th
Prodocer: Acclaim???
Date: 1987???

Today, I feel that the only movie with a game worth playing is Goldeneye. This prejudice was brought on by dreck such as Friday the 13th. I hear that Total Recall is on the same level as this, but I haven't played it. I do know that this game is so bad that the publisher was too embarrassed to even leave their name on the opening screen- it feels like an Acclaim-style crap fest, but I can't be sure. Sure, the idea of getting to kill Jason is cool, but you hardly ever fight him. Here's how it goes: You start at camp, and after picking a person, you walk around throwing rocks at zombies. You can go in the houses, and some crappy NES puzzles await you. After awhile, it gets dark, and Jason might come out. Might. When he does, you throw rocks at him, too. Lather, rinse, repeat. The game feels "slippery", your character slides after running, and the graphics are poor. Sound is pretty not too bad, but nothing to write home about. Coupled with the stupid time limit and the damn puzzles, you have a crappy game.
